Chronosophe is a clock that celebrates the day's prettiest times instead of just telling them.
It started with my son, who loved catching the clock at 11:11. So we made an app that watches for those moments: it finds the nearest beautiful time (12:34, 4:04, a palindrome, a square, a little run of digits) and colours the display by the pattern it matched. A glance at the clock becomes a small celebration.
That's the idea across the whole ·sophe family: adding a little wisdom, sophía, to everyday moments. Chronosophe does it for the hours of your day.
The same app runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac (tucked into the menu bar) and Apple Watch, with Home-Screen widgets and watch complications that show the next pretty time at a glance. Choose the patterns you care about, add personal times of your own (the minute you were born, a wedding hour), set a chime for the ones you love, and decide how far ahead to look.
No tracking. No data collection. No ads. No accounts. No third-party SDKs. No analytics. Just time and words.
The apps store your preferences in Apple's own settings storage on your device, and, only if you sign in to iCloud, sync them to your other devices through Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store. None of that data ever reaches a server we run.
